Day 1 : Paris - Antananarivo

Flight to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
After breakfast, departure for Andasibe through eucalyptus forests and the town of Ravinala. Visit a private farm in Marozevo, on the regional border between the capital and the Betsimisaraka region. Discover several species of reptiles: chameleons, geckos, crocodiles… Stop in Moramanga for lunch. Arrive in Andasibe in the afternoon and check into your hotel. At sunset, night visit to the private reserve of the Vakona Forest Lodge.
Day dedicated to the Andasibe region, discovering its fantastic fauna and flora. Hike through the tropical rainforest in search of multiple species of Indri-Indri lemurs. The flora is also impressive: lush vegetation, tree ferns, lichens, medicinal plants, sacred vines, and precious trees such as rosewood.
Drive to Manambato, to the pier for your boat transfer to Lake Rasoamasay, crossing the Pangalanes Canal.
Free day to enjoy the surroundings. Option of an excursion to Crocodile Lake, a visit to the Palmarium, a pirogue trip on the canal, or exploring the beaches of the Indian Ocean…
Boat transfer to Tamatave mid-morning. Picnic lunch in the road and stop to enjoy the scenery. Discover the lake life of Madagascan fishermen: villages, traditional pirogues, washerwomen, etc. Upon arrival at the river port, welcome, transfer and check-in at the hotel. Free time to visit the city.
Depending on flight schedules, option of a walking tour of the city or a visit to the Ivoloina reserve. Transfer to Tamatave airport then flight to the island of Sainte-Marie. Welcome, transfer and check-in at your hotel. Discover the places where you will end your stay. First swims or cocooning to relax.
Free time to rest and explore the island. A true tropical paradise, the island of Sainte-Marie is still untouched by mass tourism and remains authentic with its deserted beaches or small fishing villages with a traditional and centuries-old way of life. The few vehicles reinforce the timeless feel of this “end of the world.” The numerous trails and tracks and the size of the island make it easy to explore on foot or by bicycle. There is no shortage of places of interest: Île aux Nattes, the pirates’ cemetery, the Ampanihy forest, Île aux Forbans, the annual migration of humpback whales, popular festivals, and more. Underwater enthusiasts can also enjoy beautiful dives near the coral reefs.
Transfer to Sainte-Marie airport for your flight to Antananarivo. Welcome on arrival and vehicle provided until your international flight in the evening.
