Itinerary :
Welcome at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Free evening or quick tour of the Upper Town depending on arrival time.
Departure south on the RN7. Stop at Ambatolampy (aluminum foundry workshop). Arrival in Antsirabe, Colonial-inspired spa town. Rickshaw tour, visit to artisans (zebu horns, miniatures, etc.).
Visit to Ambositra, capital of Zafimaniry craftsmanship (wood carving). Continue to Ranomafana, a famous national park. Check into the hotel in the middle of the forest.
Guided hike in the rainforest. Observation of lemurs (golden bamboo lemurs, bamboo lemurs), chameleons, birds. Relax in the thermal baths or natural hot springs.
Stop in Fianarantsoa, a historic town. Visit the old town and a Malagasy wine cellar. Continue to Ambalavao, the center of Antemoro paper production.
Visit the Anja community reserve (ring-tailed lemurs guaranteed!). Continue to Ranohira, at the gateway to Isalo National Park. Sunset at the Fenêtre de l’Isalo.
Drive south through Mahafaly country. Possible stop at traditional tombs. Arrival in Tulear, then transfer to Ifaty (seaside).
Relax on the beach. Possible activities: snorkeling, canoeing, walk in the baobab forest (spiny forest).
Visit to the royal palace of Ambohimanga (UNESCO), a sacred site. Last-minute shopping at the craft market in La Digue.
